Engadget reports (by way of a Barnes and Noble press release) that the nook classic or 3G price has dropped to $199 and that the WiFi-only edition is now available for order and retails at $149.

Barnes and Noble has quietly released the nook v1.4 software, which includes the much coveted (and requested) “Go To Page” feature, an additional, larger font size and extended AT&T WiFi hotspot support. The update also “improves overall performance.”
